Sony 美国主管 Jack Tretton (http://cn.engadget.com/tag/jacktretton) 今天在接受 All Things D 采访时表示 PlayStation 4 (http://cn.engadget.com/tag/playstation4) 的「最终规格和设计仍在开发」，这样看来我们早些时候 (http://cn.engadget.com/2013/02/21/sony-details-playstation-4-specs-8-core-amd-jaguar-cpu-8x-b/)所看到的 AMD 美洲虎八核 64 位元 x86 处理器、由 18 个计算单元组成、每秒可处理 1.84 万亿次浮点运算的 Radeon GPU 以及 8GB GDDR5 内存等规格到最终上市时可能还会有变化呢。
同时 Tretton 还称他「希望」PlayStation 4 的发售价格不会高于 US$599（PlayStation 3 发表时两个版本的价格分别为 US$499 和 US$599），而在谈到为什么今天 PlayStation 4 的「真身」没有出现时 Tretton 表示「大多数用户在使用主机时眼睛其实都是在看着屏幕」，所以说他们决定在发表会时把重点放到屏幕中所显示的内容之上。
当被问及何时才能看到真正的主机时 Tretton 表示「在现在到正式发表的这段时间内人们会有很多机会看到主机的真面目」，Sony 只是决定「不在第一场发表会上让它亮相」而已。此外在早些时候 SCE 总裁吉田修平也曾向我们确认「最晚在 E3 时」我们就能动手玩到 PlayStation 4 的真机了，算一下的话就是在 6 月 13 日以前，大家好好期待一下吧。
