Via Licensing (http://www.engadget.com/2012/10/04/via-lte-patent-pool/) 日前正式宣布中国移动 (http://cn.engadget.com/tag/chinamobile)将携手德国电信 (http://cn.engadget.com/tag/DeutscheTelekom)一同加入他们的 LTE 专利池，未来将与 AT&T、Clearwire、DTVG Licensing、惠普、KDDI、NTT DoCoMo、SK 电信、意大利电信、Telefónica 以及中兴一起通过专利池提供标准关键专利。这样的作法能帮助他们有效降低被卷入专利官司的风险，同时与其他专利池成员间的授权合作也会变得更为简单。在中国移动和德国电信加入后 Via Licensing 专利池的影响力会进一步扩大，不知道三星、苹果、摩托罗拉、高通等业界专利大户有没有兴趣入伙呢？
